You'll also need a Schonstedt to find the pipes, "bench markers", corner marks and any ferrous object, (I've even located caskets and abandoned oil wells with mine) they can be found on E-Bay from time to time. I got mine out of a pawn shop for $25, and made thousands with it.. A cable tracer will also help. There are many brands..

Don't forget lost water and natural gas lines. I've often had city governments hire me when they couldn't locate them. And the USGS for buried markers. Of course these days they use plastic pipe but they often bury a copper wire along with pipe allowing the use of a good detector.. And golf courses sometimes lose their sprinkler system.. LOL
