Hello everyone!
I am from Andalusia, Alabama, and I am wondering whether there are other folks who live close by who would be interested in just "looking for stuff". There are a number of old homesites that are just crumbling into a pile of caved in debris. I guess that the way to comunicate on this site is with a reply to this posting. Thanks for your warm reply! If I were in Arizona, I would be trying to find some meteorites! At least in Arizona you have meteorite strewn fields clearly visible. But here in Alabama, I can't get over how many old homesteads seem to be abandoned. Take care! John Blue

Thanks for your welcome! I was also given a welcome from someone in Arizona so I'll give you the same kind of reply namely that where you are, you have an opportunity to search for meteorites. That is a hot interest of mine! As a submarine sailor, I was often referred to as a "bubblehead", but squid is a first. I'll take it though!! Were you by any chance a surface sailor?
