 [detecting]Garrett is a great machine. Don't be in a rush. You will do just fine. Find  a partner to detect with.

welcome.... start close to home ive been detecting a couple of years and i still find at least one coin in my yard every time i look

Hi smasheriii2004, Welcome Mate. The Garrett is a good machine and like all detectors you have to take your time. You will get plenty of coins. You got to get to know your machine and listen for the faint deep siginals. Go where people gather around old house steps and where kids play. Happy hunting Ken Stalley
