homemade pulse type

My name is Jim and live in SE King County, Washington State. Did this kind of stuff as a kid with my dad and a buddy of his. They built the units from scratch-BFO types. Looking mostly for meteorites and places to do some panning. (I collect rocks, even if from space.)
