Hi everyone, I'm Bilko (Dave) from Queensland Australia, some years back I purchased a Garrett GTAx 750 for my then 12 year old son as something to do other than kill aliens on his PC, him & his mates did have a lot of fun with it for a number of years. As he is now off at Uni I have laid claim to the detector for myself, to date I  have only ventured as far as the back yard finding all sorts of rubbish (and a few coins), but I am heading to the coast in the coming weeks for a break and to make it interesting I have invited the Garrett.

Cheers

Hello, Bilko.    Welcome from Arizona.    I don't know about you, but one of the features I like about the GTAx series is the ability to clip the battery pack to your belt......helps keep the arm from tiring as quickly.  Just make sure you take precautions at the beach to keep sand and spray/water from getting into the vitals.
