Fisher Gold Bug

Just found this site today! I was doing some research, on Outer Banks detecting, and came across this site. I am currently in Afghanistan but will be back in N.C., mid April. Can't wait to get back to the beaches.
Anyone found anything good in Outer Banks area lately Any body has any suggestions, as to where to hit first, they are welcome to share their knowledge. I live an hour away and have never detected down there.

Hey Larry.......stay safe over there. We can't afford to lose members of the THunting family. I saw a couple of posts recently on the Outer Banks, so you may find something useful by entering "outer banks" in the advanced search field and searching the whole forum. If not, I'm sure someone who has hunted there recently will be checking in shortly.

Thanks for the big welcome! Not active now, doing logistcal work. I've actually been off active duty for 30 years, damn I'm gettin old. Have really enjoyed many of the postings, glad to be part of the family!
