Hi nugget_2204, just recently i visited a friends Exploration Lease known as " The Margaret Diggings "near the Pine Creek Goldfields, this was just a cursory visit to get a scope of the area , with plenty of rain in the wet season the spear grass among others was thick and tall 1-3 metres high , so was almost impossible to swing a detecter also the ground there is highly mineralised and played havoc with my MXT , but will return after the wet when the grass burns off , also i'm always looking for other fields to check out . cheers Mick

Thinking of Tennant Creek or Hall's Creek ... last trip to the West was not as productive as expected and was bloody hot (47+ degrees)...
Normally spend most of my time around the Golden Triangle in Vic...
I would interested in swapping thoughts and ideas ... let me know
I may have a contact for the Hall's Creek area .. I might look him up and start planning for the next trip.
