Not sure what I should post here. I found the site while doing some research on building my metal detector.

I'm hoping to explore some old homes (very old, collapsing in some places), some old country stores, and the like.

There's not much to do where I'm from (Evergreen, Alabama), so I need something to keep my mind occupied.

I've never owned a metal detector or even used one, I'm hoping this will be something fun that my wife and I can enjoy for a long time to come.

I make a fool of myself a lot.
It is just one of those thangs... {alt}

It does not matter as long as you are friendly.

Most of us are real easy ta get along with.

Go see iffin ya kin find somthin ya like. You know,

a picyure of a gold ring, and tell the finder how good he done.

Do that about 15 times, and ya earned jur wings.... lol
