Hey John Welcome from Galveston Island.

I don't use that md but like any detector use it use it use it The more you do the better you will get at finding stuff. I am sure some of the gto2500 users will be around soon and can give you some pointers.

Hey John, welcome.   

Garrett makes some really good machines.  I'm sure once you get the hang of the machine, you'll really enjoy it.   Just don't let yourself get discouraged.  Like everything else, unless you have a whole lot of beginner's luck, there is a learning curve involved.

Fortunately, the people who frequent THunting.com are a great source of encouragement, inspiration, and advice.
