   New to this site, I hunt all types of artifacts from late 1800 homesteads , 1700 native American trade sites, to archaic stone age. The area I live in was occupied by the native Americans up till the late 1700, and the french, Spanish, English and the dutch all had townships in the area. Its good to find a site of like minded people that know that we are saving history.

    Hows the hunting downunder and have you ever done any opal hunting there. I am on the trail of a opal deposit close to my area. The D.E.Q. wants to know where a complete whale fossil is that I found and I want to know where the opal deposit is that they found. Like the old saying (scratch my back and I will scratch yours) we shall see if they want the fossil.

   Its good to find another hunter close by, I hunt everything even fossils and gem stones of all type. I'm not sure what all is in Simpson county but if you do a lot of research you will be shocked. Keep on digging.
