Thier are a few main differences. The 705 has a backlight the 70 does not. The 705 has one more mode of hunting. Yheir are a couple more? The 705 does not have enough differences to make me upgrade. I have done very well with the 70, Beale.

Beale: Thanks for your input. What about the Tesoro series. I kinda like the Musketeer Advantage. Any thoughts thanks

The Tesoro Produts are very good. Hard to beat a lifetime warranty. I have had a Vaquero, Compadre, and now a DeLeon. Out of all of  them I like the DeLeon te best. I just like a VID type machine.

Tha Muskteer Advantage is a very under rated unit. I have read some very good stuff on it. Nice deep hitter and easy to use. Similar to a Tesoro in that it is a beep dig unit. IMHO the lifetime warranty wins on this, Beale.

What part of NC are you in? I grew up in the Eastern part of south east VA only 6 miles from NC. Just wondering, Beale.
