Well this week I am getting started on this exciting new hobby. The idea of treasure hunting and exercise is very appealing. I am moving to the St Augutine area from orlando and have just purchased a fisher f2 to start with. where is the best place to purchase equipment such as the sand sifters? Thank you for all ideas and input Funny

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Well my first trip was to the beach found 2 crushed pepsi cans a sardine can and 32 cents clad. I was only out for an hour and the F@ had some issues with the wet sand I had to stick to the dry stuff. Friday I am going to try a local park that hosts the area fair every year that should produce some coinage.. I hope anyway Funny
Thank you I am building one this weekend.
