My 12 yo son wanted to start detecting and it has been quite a few years for me. I found a used Garrett Ace 250 for him and he is ready to go (around $30 at a thrift store). My old Eagle Spectrum has a backlight problem and googled to see if I could find anything on the internet and found this site.  Gotta love the internet.  The White has been in the closet since '94 and I am afraid it is in need of a service/repair. I know that is not a good thing but it was used a lot in its day.

 Oh well, I will have to follow my son around for a while...not a bad deal.
