I do have a few stories. Actually, I had two stories published in Lost Treasure Magazine a few years back. I actually enjoy writing. I am a retired photojournalist but still enjoy photography. I live in Southwest PA and enjoy detecting old homesteads in the area. It takes a lot of time and research finding them but the rewards can be great....

Thanks Sue, for the warm welcome. I will be posting stories of some of my favorite finds through out my years of detecting. I can't wait till early spring so I can get out and detect. Now, my older brother and I are doing some research for old homesteads in our area. We have found several and have made a few nice finds. However, we have only scratched the surface.

Thanks GN, I will be posting finds for the new year just as soon as the snow and frozen ground go away..I have found two old homesteads in my area. Got permission for one, still seeking permission for the other. But , I am hoping to meet with the owner soon.
