Hello everyone, Just found this site today, and hope to learn alot from all of you.  My name is Bill, and I live in central Texas. Have only been detecting for a few months, nothing too exciting found except a couple dozen blasting caps.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I plan to be here a while...unless the wife takes the laptop.  Yes, Central Texas does cover alot of area. Furtunately, I married a woman who has LAND!!  But it seems like most Italians in Brazos County have land.  Hope to visit with ya'll a little later, but tome to go to work.

Howdy Bill.......yep, I've got fond memories of Brazos County.   Have to say, though, that things changed a lot more in the College Station area than they did in the Bryan area between the time I left the county around 1980 and the time I finally made it back for a visit in 2008  Smiley   I definitely like what they did with downtown Bryan though.   I used to walk down there and dream about turning some of the vacant store fronts into restaurants.  Glad to see some Ags did and helped breath some life back into the community.
