Have been metal dectecting since 1974, mostly coin hunting. In Arizona this winter to try some nugget hunting first time. So far nothing but enjoying it. Detecting

I'm staying in Casa Grande, Az. Been out a couple of times, but so far just had some fun. Have tried some coin hunting found some but having fun. come up with something let everyone know. Will head bad to Colorado in middle of April.

I haven't spent much time in Casa Grande (mostly its a quick rest break between Phoenix and Tucson), but I'm planning on spending some time there.....especially since I just finished reading a book by a former city and county attorney out there. Some of the stuff he wrote about illegal gambling, bootlegging, and such looks like it could be developed into some interesting leads. Hope you have an enjoyable time hunting the area.

Thank you, I am trying to learn some of the ways around as this is differnent from the area I'm in, in colorado. The San Luis Valley has some nice areas and some nice 4 wheeling, but as time goes by, big brother keeps changing things. MC
