BH Pioneer 101

Hi all fellow forum members. I came across this site from a post on the friend metal detecting forum site and thought I'd join. I'm new to metal detecting as I borrowed a bounty hunter pioneer 101 from my wife's grandfather for a short while and have been enjoying playing around with it in my backyard. I'm looking to search both for coins and relics. I'm from Northeast Wisconsin - home of the "frozen tundra".

..talk to your wifes grandfather about old spots by ya,he might remember things like where the old bandstands used to be or canivals,parks or anything about the history of your town.old timers are wells of information.good luck,looking foreward to you post buddy

Yeah we can dig - usually not until spring with such a deep frost level. We've had an exceptionally warm spring thought withs 60s-70s several days in the last few weeks when we're used to 30s-40s this time of year!
