My name is bobby williams,I live in northeastern N.C.,I am fortunate enough to work on a site that has a 1700s home site and graveyard.I have found many artifacts.including a grape shot cannonball,buttons,one 4th French Marine artillary,many plan brass,one tombac,2 brass buckles and two iron.lots of iron artfacts,I have had articals published in two newspapers,and one online magazine,about my finds . I also collect coins.

I have 2 BHs thenother is a pioneer 550,i have been working with the East Carolina University, to peserve this site, they came out and did a test dig and found a cellar,they will come back in the fall
and do the dig.so i moved over 75yards and i found this button and a king george iii 1/2 penny,also a foundation for what i think is a kitchen.

Nice stuff. I found an oxen shoe in the Pinenuts east of Carson city once...a buddy said it may have been from the 1700's
