Hi:
 I am a new user (newbie) on this forum.  Im just another old guy looking to spend some quality time in the outdoors.  I love to fish, and decided that taking my old Fisher 522-D with me was a good thing.  I just recently updated it to a Fisher F2,  nice to kinda know what your looking at before you do any digging.  Im a retired Commercial photographer, so I enjoy taking a few pics too.  Hoping to gain some knowledge about finding better stuff than the piles of nails and pull tabs I now own.

hey picturguy........welcome to THunting.com.   good to have you around.   Word of advise----don't put too much stock in what the detector tells you is down there---especially if it says pull-tab.  Much better to dig 99 pulltabs and one diamond ring than to not dig 100 "pull-tabs".   Smiley
