James, it takes awhile for everyone to learn/understand new detectors. The more you use it, the more familiar you become with it. I lived in Los Angeles for awhile and remember a little about your area. I recall Tweedy Avenue and a story about Mrs Tweedy coming to Calif, in the 1850s, sitting in a rocking chair inside an ox drawn cart. Probably California's 1st lady 'rocker' Wink
