Hi grampz im new to the site and also from the uk. Started last year metal detecting and have a garret ace 250 found this to be a good detector and easy to use although I think its top class in the price range other guys im detecting with using more expensive machine are pulling out better finds. having said that i have got a couple of romans and a lot of victorian coins but still chasing the the hammered good luck and have fun with it.

Hi Chris, I'm in Scarborough North Yorkshire, there are plenty of paths and walks here to go, and the beach of course, but I'll only do that after a storm?? I have found a 1x one and 1x two new pence pieces so for! Cheers for your reply have fun and good luck.
