Welcome from NM.     Lived in Incirlik for three years.    What part are you in?   Adana Lake was cool.  We had a Island rented and spent many a days and nights there.

I found coins at the   Castel by the sea.   Another guy found like a pile of them in the same place.    Seems they Chucked them over the Wall to Appease the Natives?

Back then a Guided Tour was a Bus ride to the castle .   The Bus driver would stay on the bus and smoke his Hashes eat his Ekmek and Cheese and take a Knapp.  If you didn't come back in three hours you was AWAL and the Military would come find you MAYBE!  Now that is a cool  Guided tour.

As a kid this was super Cool Stuff.   After all the years I still have one of those coins.

Quite an introduction.   Please tell us a bit about yourself.   My dad had a good friend who was from Instanbul, with a summer home in Datca.    Dad visited the family a few times and loved his time in Turkey.

Turkey is a Super cool Country.

The folks there at the time was more then Friendly.

Ok Some not so Cool.   They would do stuff like Kill you if you did not follow there customs.  But if you did and you was a Blond Little boy you could do just about anything you wanted.

Any time I Went to a Keost I received free Kazoos  ( Sarsaparilla Soda) and or Chocolate.

Being a Non Practicing Christen Named person, I really don't think I could get away with that today.  But times was good back then.

I would love to go back again .

Are the Detecting Laws Good or Messed up? 

Some say Ok on Beaches others say Jail Time.
