Lucky?? huummm!!! We make our lucky!!! If I stay at home seeing movies (and I like too), I'll never find gold rings ...!!! Detecting Detecting Detecting
Detecting it's good for health, sometimes for the pocket (I bought this new detector with the money that I've found with the Ace), and for spiritual ... (when I'm detecting ... I feel good ... so good - like James Brown) Smiley
I'd like to detect in UK ... probably, because they have good laws for the detectors and a great history. In Portugal we have a lot of history, but the laws are confuse ... If you read well the law, you can't detect in Portugal ... but there are some guys (including me) who are fighting for legislation (laws) for the detectorism.
For me, it's a fantastic hobby!!!
Thanks for the regards ... about Ace 250 I suppose that I know a lot and I can teach ... about others detectors ... no!!! Lips Sealed
Here it's 00.07, a little bit late and I'm really tired .. I have to go.
See you
ACVV
P.S. Tomorrow I'll explore this site ... recomendations??

Hi everybody

Since my last post ... I detected for several times, but I didn't find more gold. Sometimes I don't understand the Fisher and return to the Ace250.
I found 2 silver rings, a coin from the 16th century, 4 from the beggining of 20th century, an old mosquet bullet, lots of euros ... not bad!!! :-)
I'd like to make a question about settings with Fisher F75, in the camp (forest) I'd like to know the most adequate settings for that kind of detection (in this kind of land).
I'll try to explorate this site now ...!!!
Thanks.

I haven't used the Fisher F75, so I can't really help you with the settings.   All I can say is it is good you kept the Ace250.   It takes a while to learn a new detector and until you get really comfortable with it, it is important to have your old detector as a back up for when you are frustrated and just need to be able to find something.
Keep at it and you will soon learn to use both detectors to your satisfaction.

Yesterday, I went to the beach and I've found more 2 gold rings (19,2 kt with a stone and a heavy 14 kt ring!!!) Great Hunting!!! The first one in position 37, and the 2nd in position 43.
I'm very happy with the Fisher F75 in the beach, but for the camp the settings doesn't satisfy me ... who can help me, please!!!
