Hello all, newb here in east Texas. Went with my dad when I was younger, watched him do it. So I borrowed his old rig, an 80's or 90's whites coinmaster 2d/b, and been digging in my yard found three live rounds:.22, .38, .45, 40 cents in change and lots of junk. I run around with Lakemonster he told me about the site. He's new here to. We are going to try to hit up a local park today hopefully it will be productive. Look forward to checking out all the site has to offer and see everyone elses finds and hear their stories.

Hey, groovin73.   Welcome from a lost Texan in Arizona.  Beautiful country where you are and lots of places to hunt.

Welcome from Gold Country, the interior of Alaska. FAIRBANKS.  Smiley
Can't wait until the snow is gone so that I can dig for that yellow gold.
8 months is tooooo long to wait between seasons.

Fortunately I was able to go to the San Gabriels and the East fork to do a little prospecting in January. Found some color, wished I could have stayed more than a couple of hours.

Good hunting to you.
