Still a lot of gold in some of these creeks and rivers. Just hard to get in them or do anything in them because most are now considered private property. Found a few good locations this fall, just bought a 4" keene ultra mini dredge, only got to use it once, but what a difference it makes to my 2" keene dredge. As soon as the weather warms some I'll be in those creeks pretty heavy. These mountains are ancient and most of the gold already errode out of veins and is in the soil. Every flood and heavy rain restocks the creeks. If the states would allow property owners to commercially mine they'd be rich right now.
