 Hello Detecting hello all! my name is brian, living on the costa del sol spain and finding a lot of stuff on the beach here, mainly euros but a little jewellry aswell! i have a detectorpro headhunter wader which is a great little machine for the beach,water and land, will keep you informed of my finds shortly!

Welcome from New Mexico!       How are the detector laws in Spain?   I thought the government went sour on Metal detectors no long ago.

 Detecting  hola!! yes when you read the info on the net regarding the laws on detecting it seems you are not  allowed without this or that but i walked into the local police station and asked them if i needed a licence or permission to detect on the beach or in the water and they told me as long as i do not interfere with people or make a nuisance of myself with the people enjoying their sunbeds everything would be fine and no i would not need a licence, i suppose it would be different on land especialy a protected site or tresspassing or the like! so come on down!!lots of beaches to choose from but you have to get there before the big machine comes along and sweeps everything in sight clean!! we must have the cleanest beaches in europe!! still the fresh air is a bonus, i found 2 euros the other day and when i got back to the car i had a 6 euro fine!! Violent
