I was looking at a Garret ADS Masterhunter Deep seeker with two coils but missed out on it.

I have just bought a couple of old Whites of Ebay. On is a 5d and the other a 6 DBH. GEB. I know these are probably not the best for gold but should be fun and give me an introduction to detectors.

The Australian forums rave about the PI detectors but these are way outside my budget.

There have been a few White Goldseekers and different old Garrets available lately but they are a lot more than what I paid for the old Whites.
