I'm new here and don't have a metal detector yet, but I'm saving up the money for an ACE 250. Very nice. Hope to find some English Civil War treasure in the near futre. Then Atlantis. Funny

Howdy Historybookboy and Bonjovi99. Welcome to THunting. I'm looking forward to reading posts from both of you. I'm especially looking forward to your posts on the English Civil War. It is a fascinating period of history that was important not only to the Modern UK, but to the derivative nations such as Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand...(not meaning to short-change South Africa, but I don't know enough South African history to decide whether "English" or German history would be of greater influence or if they are equal).
