Welcome to the forum relax and enjoy.
I bet your just itchin to get out with the new MD'er!
The Tesoro Cortez sounds like a nice tool, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it.
There are lots of experienced and friendly folks on here, so anything you want to know just ask away and I'm sure you'll get a lot of help.
Just be patient and take time to get to know your MD'er and it'll get better and better.

Welcome to the Forum! Tesoro is an excellent choice! Steady peformance, easy to use and a most quality customer support.

I'm sure you will find slot's of good stuff!

Here are two hints how to avoid / minimzte false signals with your machine:

- Make sure the coil cable is wrapped firmyl around your stem
- Better put down the sensitivity a bit rather than setting it to the maxium posistion
