Although I bookmarked this site some time back, just recently registered as there are a couple of forums here that I feel that
I could probably contribute some info to.

Got my first detector as a present in March 1966 and have managed
to swing one since then. Age has slowed (perhaps a good thing) me
down some, but I still find a goodie now and again.

I mostly use Tesoro and White's detectors. My theory is; if one or
the other of these detectors don't find it, I probably don't want it.

Olerelic

Hi olerelic, Starting in 1966, I'm sure you found plenty of silver coins. Great to have you aboard and I'll be looking forward to reading your posts! Sue

Hey olerelic Welcome from Galveston Island. I got my first detector in 1972 oh the good old days. Remember when you want a cup of coffee and you could not find clad to buy it all them silver coins keep getting in the way.
