Go Up Go Down

Since last weeks posts got lost I thought I would re-introduce myself.
Got a BOGO deal on a Titan2000xd for me and my wife and hope to have some fun and get a little exercise at the same time. Now if I can just find somewhere to hunt here in the Western Carolina Mountains.

DrgnTrppr, go to the library and get the books written on the area by the old-timers, and then sit down with a couple of good maps and find out where they had picnics, went swimming, had revivals, etc.   Also look for "gossip" about people coming into a bunch of money or something similar or for raids by law enforcement.   These and the old newspapers as well as listening to people talk about the old days are going to be your clues as to where to find the good stuff.

Headed to the Outer Banks next week and going to rent a detector.. any locations that easy pickings there?? Yeah yeah, iknow, we all have to earn our strips by digging up some pull tabs at the beach. I'll be up near Duck, and North.

I wish I could help but I just got my first detector this week and I have never been to the outer banks, wrong end of the state.
But I am sure that if you start a new post aking about where to go in the outer banks lots of members will post to help.

Sorry

Anywhere near Duck, Corellia, or Corovia there are miles of beaches, just have at it. We've been there about 10 times, I am just now getting into MD'ing, I can't wait to come back there and look around.

I wish I was making pick-ups brother, I just had my second back surgery a month ago. I love the job but my back went south on me. I'll be better soon I'm sure
