just wanted to say hi to everybody.  i live about 20 miles south of knoxville, tn.  this is my second year gold prospecting, so i'm still a newbie to it as well.  i used to be really into detecting, but i sold my white 5900 about 3 yrs ago, then got the gold fever shortly after.  i'm still kicking myself for letting it go.  i'll get a new one eventually.  i'd like to meet anyone in my area who is into prospecting. we might go sluice or dredge a little together. take care and happy hunting..
