Eagle, I wouldn't worry about the White's XLT e series being too much to handle, I'd look at it as a detector you can grow into as you learn. Even if you can't use all of the features when you first get it, you can still use the machine and still find treasures with it. The more you use it, the more of the features you will be able to use. If you can afford it, and you think it will meet your long-term THunting goals, I say go for it.
