Hi all.My name is John,I'm retired and have 66 turns on my coil.I built a Sandbanks PI on the cheap,at least 25 years ago, from bits and pieces and it's still going strong.I live in South Wales [uk].I'm going to experiment with some different search coils.
Cheers all.
John

Welcome from New Mexico.

I built that little beast back in the 80's.

Cool little machines.

Top Right Corner of the Page do a search on SandBanks and we have more then a few threads on them.

Hi John and welcome! My first thought it that you did a great job building that Sandbanks. What's your favorite find so far?

hello bevjohn6, looking forward to seeing those pic's  Great
and just FYI, i use photobucket for myypicture storage and post links in my threads, rather then
upload to the message board server, that way i can control the size of them and it saves space
on the server and is easier on my bandwidth if i'm using the same picture of different sites.

but back to the subject....  Hi from New Zealand   Waveing

Hello from CT. Sounds like you built a good one! Last one I built in the 80s had a killer discriminator in it but never could get over 4" on a dime! Angry  Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Try using the attached software to resize your images. There is no install. Just pop it onto the desktop and run it. Will resize an entire directory in one operation if you want while preserving the originals. Or, you can overwrite the originals if you select that option. It's free of charge. I own distribution rights on the package and give it to Thunting members at no cost.
