Hello I am introducing myself as a New Member by telling everyone whether you have used a metal detector for years or for those who are getting started.  You will find many different items as you hunt for that special piece, a Coin,, a Ring, Valuable items etc...  But you will also find rusty nails, popcans, or the ever invincible pop tab bottle lid etc...
    Over the years I have grown to realize that there are no useless finds.  each time you find something whether valuable or useless you have learned a bit about searching.  After all that is why you have instead time and money in your equipment.  Everything has a history about it.  Who lasted held the item you've found? What were they doing when they lost it or through it down?  It may sound stupid, but I enjoy the find, because after all, that's what I was doing.  Have fun searching no matter what you find, if you let it get you frustrated, it will cause you to quit.
