Hi there, new member and new detector. Just ordered the AT Pro and waiting for its arrival by the end of the week, just in time for another week of snow and rain.  Plan to build a pinpointer and head out to some old mine and millsites that I have stumbled across over the years.  I look forward to relic and nugget hunting mostly.  And I look forward to learning from you detecting veterans out there.

Thanks for the welcome.  I meant to mention that I live in western Colorado.  Took retirement last year so that I would have time for new hobies (like detecting).  I travel mostly around the southwest, plus Wyoming.

Hello, caseyb.   Welcome to THunting.com.   I think you'll probably like that AT Pro.  If I were in the market for another detector, I'd probably check it out myself (especially since I'm not likely to get much deeper than 10 ft into the water---especially here in the desert)
