I guess my interest mostly are in the nugget hunting.  I have been doing a lot of reading on detectors and have concluded that I have not come to any conclusions.   I'm also interested in mining claims and small scale mining but a lot of that is way over my head.

Any thought or recommendations would be welcome.

As for a gold detector,  that pretty much depends on available funds.

Go check out the Prospectors Talk board for stuff.
