Hello, first off I am new to this site so happy to have found it.

Metal Detecting is not allowed at Cape Hatteras National Seashore so I am wondering if anyone knows of any fossil hunting sites within 30 miles of Hatteras/Rodanthe ? I go to Calvert Cliffs in Maryland occasionally and just love the treasure hunt.

Howdy Jotz........the outer banks are bit out of my bailiwick, but we've got members in the area (not to mention members heavily enough into fossil collecting that they're likely to know about hunt sites on the other side fo the globe), that will probably be able to point you in the right direction.
