Go Up Go Down

I was originally from Connecticut but moved around until about 1982 . Then I moved to Oregon, But that is another story that I will tell later on. For right now this is about Conn. in Oakville if you go all the way up Sylvan Lake Rd. to the end where it comes to a Y. Bearing to the right then going about a hundred yards you take a left down a dirt road/ path this on the right side of The Dwyers burnt down farm.
Continue down this road for roughly about a mile and you will come to the High Tension wire towers, just prior to the High Tension wires on the left side of the road is where the Dwyers and the people from around that area from the 1800's up to around 1940's used as a dump site. This would be a good area for people that like collecting old bottles and jars or even old farm implements . Farther on down this road there is another dump site for the Electric company.
The last time that I was there was in the 1980's

BA have you done any exploring or sampling up in and around Sycamore Canyon ?
When I was there last I noticed a couple closed off or blocked mine shafts.
I also have been told that there numerous Indian artifacts in and around
some of the caves that are there.
Re:  Chris where about in Maryland are you located ?
As I spent about 7 years in and around Crownsville.

Been gadflying about too much to give Sycamore the kind of look it deserves, but I guess I need to move it up the list a bit.

Another thing of note that I forgot to put in with my post on Sycamore Canyon is that it was
the last stronghold of Geronimo.

That's right! He's the guy who invented the parachute scream, right?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
