That would be interesting  to cut the stones.    Myself...I wouldn't have a clue on how to get started with that though.  Would have to do some research or post about it to find out.

Stringfrinz, if you have ever seen someone cut tile, like in a kitchen or putting in a bathroom, cutting stone is about the same. You use diamond pregnated blades and you run them in a liquid to keep them cool or if they get to hot the blade is ruined because all the diamonds have fallen off because the glue/epoxi that they cement the diamonds in with melted.

It's easy and can be very rewarding, if you like looking at different type designs for a possible jewelry piece, like for a belt buckle.
