Hello, Junkman.
    Welcome to THunting.com.
Please turn off your caps.  Unless there is a medical or equipment reason why you must have them on, posting in all CAPS is considered rude...people think you are shouting at them.
Also, could you tell us a bit about yourself?   You're more likely to get responses if people have an idea who they are talking to.  For instance, are you from Minnesota, or are you just planning on visiting/hunting there?   How did you get interested in tokens (a lot of folks don't know what they are)?   You don't have to go into a lot of detail--but please give people a reason to want to respond to you.

BA

That's better.    Those of us who know trade tokens here at THunting love trade tokens.   And the folks at my local metal detecting club really love trade tokens (of course, it helps that tokens from the Arizona Territory generally fetch a good price.)   My wife has found two decent tokens (R-9 for one and R-7 for the other).  A friend of ours recently found a $1 token issued by the same location that issued her R-9.

And you'll find lots of us here that collect old books, agates, and meteorites (if we can find them).

R-9 is a scale for determining rarity based on the number of known examples.    There are a few variations of the scale.  In this case, we are going by the values given by Peter Spooner in his Arizona Trade Tokens published in 2010.   A pretty good discussion of the major rarity scales used in the US can be found at

Spooner's scale tends to follow the Fuld/Kanzinger model.   And to be honest, my wife's R-9 should probably be classified as an R-8 now (one of less than 10 known examples).
