I have visited Janina in Greece and some of neighbouring Albania and have a keen interest in locating the lost treasure of Ali Pacha which was never found. Legend has it that it was transported by six mules not far away.
Recently there have been news items about a new search for the lost treasure as a Greek Australian applied for permission to look at a neighbouring village where Alis wife was from. Google the words "Gold fever in Greece" and you will see the recent news article. The greek government hopes the find will reduce the financial debt...
