just watch out for the Yowie,

I shudder when I hear that word. That is Australia's most deadly creature. Bar none. The word is, if you see one, it's too late.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yes GD, I know what you meen,

In the township of Kilcoy about 60 Kms or almost 40 miles inland from Caboolture just north of Brisbane there is a 10ft statue of it/him , Its a lovely town but due a stange  happening one night made me a little less willing to go there, or the people i was with at the time,   Shocked

Sightseers keep going to the Statue and snapping off his YOU KNOW WHAT   Embarrassed

Cool thanks for that link. Looks like there are a lot of strange things Big foot, loch nest monster and now this HO but I do have one for you too, we have a shark so big that the wake from the tail of the shark is bigger than that of fishing boats. We even had Chinese fishermen crew that saw it and refused to go back to sea. Carcharodon megalodon dose it still exist? I happen to think so.

Good night all

I have seen nature programs on that creature and they got some of its teeth off the sea bed

I guess it could be possible that they have survived

G'Day SPEC, yes mate Kilkivan is a good place, but you might want to have a look up at Jimna, My Dad use to own the shop there back in 1984 and he also worked on the Forestry, I come from a Long line of Timber Cutters, But there has been gold found there and it is alot closer to you, but just watch out for the Yowie,

Buggerd if id go there at night,

good luck

Sounds like it's  worth a look thanks RIDGE RUNNER What does the Yowie eat? I'll take some along.

Well you could try laying a tim tam trail, but theres alot of sambar Deer up there so he might be a meat eater and theres wild Boar up there too so go prepared if you know what I meen,

theres two ways you can go, 1 is via the peachester range road or come in the bribie end off the bruce highway and just stay on that road and Kilcoy is the next town you hit when you get to Kilcoy if you turn left you will come to a T Junction and Yowie park is right in front of you, But if you go straight on instead and then turn right that will take you straight up to Jimna and the Township is on the right once all the hills have levelled out which is about 10Ks from Kilcoy, Ok,

But watch out for the Timber Jinkers/Trucks coming down the range, I prefer to drive at night up there so I can see the headlights coming and that gives you a chance to get out the way,
