whites 6000 dl pro

My 6000 pro has been in my closet for 10 yrs..My charger, case and head set was in my shop and they burnt up with the shop..Now I have purchased a 4 c cell batt pack, but doesnt seem to turn on or work..Was wonder where to send it, or maybe some on might know whats wrong..Batterys are in correct..Hippybill
