White's Prizm V,  White's coinmaster
« on: March 09, 2010, 11:04:59 am »
Go Up Go Down

Recently bought a White's coinmaster.  Bought it as a back-up to my Prizm V.  After a few trips with the coinmaster, I found it to be more reliable then the Prizm.  I belong to a treasue hunting club in Louisiana with 7 members, all of which use White's DXT, Prizm V, IV and III.  And two Ace250's.   For the price, $179.99, retail, the White's new coinmaster is another awesome addition to the White's family.  I have heard that the coinmaster is a stripped down version of the Prizm III.  I can not tell, the only feature it is missing is VCO pinpointing.  Who really needs that anyways.  The Ace250 in our inventory always have problems with sensitivity and pinpointing.  The whites coinmaster is as every bit good as the Prizm at an affordable price.  I recommend it to anyone!   X

What I have noticed with the Ace 250 as compared to the Priz III is that there is a serious delay between the time the coil actually passes over a target and the time in which the chime rings making it harder to find exactly where the target actually is. This can be negated by simply slowing down the swinging speed, except in area where there are multiple targets close together.
