While digging through an old falling down house, I came across a 1965 issue of an Illustrated Space Encyclopedia and "inside" the front cover I found folded up this

1922 German Government Bond-1000 Mark

That's an interesting piece of history.  1922 was the year the German Mark really began to go down the tubes.   And  it was that slide that really marked the rise of street  battles between the extremists groups which eventually led to the rise of the Nazis.

Pretty neat lil find. The wife put it in a nice frame for me to hang on the wall. Myself, I'd like to sell it but don't know to go about doing it. Oh well.. either way its neat hanging on the wall.
