My place is a farm homesteaded in 1892, so I have  A LOT of scrap metal just under the surface.  One of the things that I found in the house when we bought it was a 1937 Idaho license plate in fair condition.  I hung this on a nail in my garage and it's been there for 12 years.  Last night I took the detector out where the barn use to be and I was digging up all kinds of trash.  Lo and behold, about 6" down I found the matching plate for the one that is hanging in the garage.

Neat that you've found the mate to the plate. Smiley
