Hi All.
Ok for the good news, I have found my very first error Dollar bill the bad news. I let my kids look at it, and it didn't turn out very well, as they both tried to be the first to hold the Dollar.

yeah it was pretty disappointing, what got me was the wife's attitude it's just a dollar.

actually, I'd say  hang on to it.   When they get older and can actually understand the value of money you can pull it out and say, "look, you remember this dollar?  It would have been worth about $xxxx.xx, but now it's only worth a $1.00 because you two got greedy.  You willing to risk the same sort of thing again?"

While I've softened with age and I would not have punished my kids, if my brother and I had done that, we definitely would have been soundly thrashed.

If our wild behavior destroyed some "property" even of insignificant value, we would've faced dire consequences.

.... and we would have soon gotten over it, and knew we were loved.
