Hi,
It depends on the size of what you are looking for at 3 meters.
There is no detector in any shape or form that will go to that kind of depth on coins.
If it's something substantial such as the size of an oildrum you might just do it with a decent P.I. design.
The dbp2010 (schematics and everything are on here) would likely be a good choice using a LARGE coil.
For goodness sake keep away from anything such as "LRL's" that claim to be able to detect things at hundreds of meters.......... they DONT work.

your deep PI detector design will be greatly limited by the coil size.are you capable to wind and build a large 1metre+ size coil.the soil type is important also for depth.is soil conditions high mineralised.I can find larger metal object like Boat anchor in deep beach sand to 2metres with my built PI an very large coil.but same setup on inland bush the depth is almost half.
the larger the coil, the less sensitive on smaller metal targets.
I have not seen in my time any PI detector design detect to 3metres.home built or commercial made.but I may be wrong and there does exist such a unit, but must have a very large search coil, maybe even towable?
Good Luck!

hi hamedtaheri

if you take a test as standard to all deeper detector

as dbp2010 look to the text you see 30*30 at any deep with any

             coil , it is esay.

             -----that test in air.

             best time

             j.
