Are you sure that it's 400mH sounds very high to me did you make a flat coil? also how many turns do you have?

yes imaked a flat coil and its detected a 10cm nail from 40cm under ground Detecting

I build pulse-2 and test it whit 20 cm flat coil and 90 cm squar coil in 400yh
Its so good for magnetic metals but its weak for gold
It detect that 10cm nail whit 20cm coil and detect a 25*25 cm shovel in 160 cm in air whit 90*90 coil
Amazing , isnt it?

My pulse a detector sensitivity Gary Low, all voltages are normal. Coil is normal.
2.5CM coins to 10 cm, / 30 cm coke, iron 20 cm to 50 cm.
How to improve the sensitivity?

Are you use LT1054 for that?
Its very important to use that not Icl7660. Detecting

what is your coil ? It must be 400 yh . Wise
